In December 2016, “EMPIRE” Ltd. carried out work on warehouse volume calculation of goods in the port.

The Aim was to identify the volumes. To perform this task was used UAV technology because of the rapid execution of works and safety measures. On the warehouse of loose materials are not allowed walk or stand on it (its height more than 4 meters), that’s why using of standard surveying equipment is impractical.

Standard equipment used only for creation of base point.  Due to the irregularity of stock material the use of UAVs allowed us to obtain accurate digital terrain model and to calculate the volume.
